Socialization and Declaration of Gerakan Masyarakat Cerdas Menggunakan Obat (GeMa CerMat)

Bapak Bambang Musyawardhana, East Jakarta Mayor, opened the Socialization and Declaration of Gerakan Masyarakat Cerdas Menggunakan Obat (GeMa CerMat) by beating a gong that held by Health Department of East Jakarta Sub Department at Palm Room, PARK HOTEL Jakarta, Wednesday (15/3).
Present at this event Dra. R. Dettie Yuliati, APR, M.Si., Director of Pharmaceutical Services of Health Ministry, and Dra. Khafifah Ani, APR, M.Si., Deputy Head of DKI Jakarta Health Department.
Through GeMa CerMat, the government and society attempts to achieve awareness, understanding, and skills in using medicine appropriately and correctly.
GeMa CerMat socialization attended by 140 health cadres and pharmacists were 14 cadres of 10 community health centers (Puskesmas) in every sub-district in East Jakarta.
Bapak H. Ahmad Zainuddin, Lc, M.E., Commission IX Member of DPR RI, was present as a speaker.
The event was held to socialize the use of medicine correctly that can enhance the knowledge of medicine use in society and to realize the role of the pharmacists and community health centers as activators and educators in the education and dissemination of information on the use of medicine correctly.
