PARK HOTEL JAKARTA HELD IFTAR WITH PEDIATRIC CANCER PATIENTS

Ramadhan is the holy month that is filled with togetherness and sharing. This year PARK HOTEL Jakarta held Iftar event with pediatric cancer patients from Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia (YKAKI), at Jalan Percetakan Negara XI no. 129 on Sunday (27/5). All management and staff were excitedly organized this first Ramadhan charity that held outside the hotel.
The event commenced with the speech by the General Manager of PARK HOTEL Jakarta Utomo Adhi Basuki and followed by a speech from a senior teacher of YKAKI Ibu Herni.
“This CSR program is in line with government's program to improve people's lives. I also hope this visit can bring huge motivation to our staff to always care toward others,” said Adhi on his speech.
Children of YKAKI performed and participated on the event by singing coloring, drawing and playing puzzle, assisted by the hotel team. Followed by magic attraction that performed by one of the hotel staff, Tommy from F&B Department.
Before Iftar, the Head of Committee of this event and also the Executive Housekeeper of PARK HOTEL Jakarta, Kartum, shared some thoughts about Grateful. He said that grateful is something that every people must have and always remember, because grateful makes everyone’s lives more meaningful, especially, on this moment when PARK HOTEL Jakarta had a chance to break the fast together with children at Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia.
The event ended by giving some gifts to the children. Hopefully this charity event will be beneficial and bring blessings to all of us.
